In Middle Camp, campers explore all that camp has to offer while enhancing their individual creativity with weekly activity choice in a structured camp environment. Campers will experience all CDR has to offer from over 30 program areas including boating and other activities at Budd Lake and at least one off-site trip. Whether your camper enjoys the weekly adventures on the ropes course, the challenge of hitting a bulls-eye during archery, boating on Budd Lake, or creating a beautiful work of art in ceramics, your camper is sure to love Middle Camp!
As our campers get older, we work with them to tailor their camp experience by including a 1-hour a day “chugim” (elective) period! Chugim is a great time for campers to enjoy an extra period of their favorite activity and spend time with friends in other groups.
Campers also enjoy two swim periods a day in our upper pool. Red Cross Certified Lifeguards tailor morning swim instruction to teach your camper to tread water, pass the deep water test, and dive! In the afternoon, campers enjoy making waves with their friends and sliding down our water slide.
